Hi family!!!!
Oh, how much I love each of you!
This week was a wonderful one, as all of them are! Bosnia has completely stolen my heart, and the salvation of these cute people is all I think about. I really have fallen in love with this culture here.
The week started off in Croatia for Mission Leadership Conference (MLC). This one was by far my favorite. I felt the Spirit so strongly, guiding my thoughts on what we need to do better as a zone to bring these sweet people to God better. My companion and I were SOOOOO motivated and excited to work. At the end, I was literally shaking in my seat just dying to get back to my area and start working... and that is exactly what we did.
One of the things we are focusing on as a mission is CLEANLINESS!! As the zone leadership in our mission, we realized how much better we all work when our homes are clean. PLUS when our bodies are clean. With it being summer, most missionaries are on a health kick or whatever and many of them have mentioned how much better they work because they are taking care of themselves. I know the Spirit abides in holy, clean temples. So, Sister Bushong and I went right to work. We worked SO hard on our apartment and man... it looks so good! We are so happy! It took up all our free time but it was worth it! The Spirit can abide in our cute apartment now and we can truly focus our efforts on the work here in Bosnia.
It was REALLY hot this week, over 40 degrees Celsius (104 degrees Fahrenheit) for a few days. HOT! It started getting pretty warm last transfer, so I made a goal with Sister Martineau to drink 3 liters of water a day. It was so fun and it really made us feel better. Well... with a health kick, plus the most humid and hot area... I have continued that goal and now Sister Bushong is doing it with me. She hates it. It is so funny. She was not much of a water drinker before. As we have gotten more sweaty, she has not complained as much haha. I love her.
The work is awesome. Bosnia is on fire. Every time we go out, we come back with a story of success and a new person to teach. I love it. It is so so so exciting to wake up every morning and KNOW that you will be able to share the gospel that day.
Have a wonderful week! I love you all!
