Oh my heart is in America, I swear I love each of you so much! Thank you so much for the uplifting emails again! I cannot express how much support I feel from each and every one of you! I hope you feel it returned from me! You are EACH in my prayers BY NAME every night! I am working on memorizing who's kid is who, but thank you for the photos despite my lacking ability to know who they belong to haha.
This week was led by the Spirit! It was the best feeling! There were moments standing in front of a door and praying with my companion that the Lord would open it... and inside was a family who accepted us and invited us back again to share more. This happened more than once. I am seeing the members become SO prepared to accept our investigators. In short, this week I have completely and without question, fallen in love with my Maribor! This place completely owns my heart (as do each of you)
I am so excited that the Christmas tree is up and that family is already gathered there! I know mom will make it such a special day, as always. Our Mission President has given us a little time to celebrate, so we will be observing Thanksgiving, and rumor has it our senior couple has ordered a turkey from the capital city! YAY!!! I hate turkey... but I mean, what is thanksgiving without it?
I found myself pondering what I am thankful for this week. One of my top three is my membership in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day saints. WHAT AN HONOR!!!!! With that comes the correct understanding of our Heavenly Father and our individual potential, the ability to repent fully, TEMPLES, not to mention the ability to return to God because of the Priesthood.... the list goes on!! I bought a little notebook and titled it "What my membership in the Church of Jesus Christ means to me!" It already has many pages filled! Words can simply not express my sincere gratitude for my membership and the testimony which has come with it. I LOVE MY TESTIMONY! It is something I treasure more than anything! I am so grateful Heavenly Father has trusted me with one! And it is growing every day. I am also so thankful for my call from our Heavenly Father to serve his children in Slovenia. That is something else that is very dear to my heart. Words will never help me express how i feel about my privilege to be a missionary.
Of course, my most sincere blessing is my parents and siblings and each of their families. I LOVE YOU ALL! I just cry thanking my Father for you each every day.
I hope you all have the most beautiful day and remember all of your many blessings!!! You are EACH on my list!
I LOVE YOU ALL!
