Hi family!!!!!
Wow! I didn't know this type of happiness existed. I would tell you I am so happy... but that doesn't begin to cover one part of my emotions. I have literally never been happier. This morning as we went to the market for fruit and then to the bakery for some bread for the week in the crisp morning air in my Celje... I was almost giddy because of how happy I am. I looked at my companion and just realized how sincerely blessed we are! It has been the most beautiful week in the history of ever. The weather was breathtaking, the gospel is true, People are listening.... I loved this week with all I have.
The Lord is so aware of Celje. This week we had some very spiritual lessons with some amazingly prepared people and extended the invitation to be baptized. Every single one of them said yes. I am becoming a much better teacher and that is making all of the difference. The Lord loves these people and I can feel it is that which drives me to knock on that last door. THE CHURCH IS SO TRUE!
Slovenia was blessed to have Paul Cardall come and preform in Ljubliana! I had the privilege of attending the concert and it was SO GOOD! I was happy to hear him play hymns and bear his testimony through word and song. There were so many people there! Standing room only! He played in an old Catholic church. The concert was put on by the senior couple here in Celje so I have been in the loop. Miracles took place to get him here and the Lord used the efforts of all of us to bring a miracle. I got to meet Mr. Cardall. He greeted me warmly and addressed me as "Sister" haha. It was cute. He is such an amazing man! I was so happy for all that came! I know it blessed their lives. It was a stressful day filled with rain storms, missed trains (still working in on reading military time... sorry Sister R.), investigators not showing up, and other stressful moments... but it was SUCH a good day after it was over!
Celje... I love this place. It is getting rather chilly. Yesterday it was 4 degrees. I had on a sweater and tights. I could not have been happier. I LOVE love love fall. I am learning to love it more as a missionary because the weather is pretty much always perfect for contacting. I live in a beautiful place. I am so happy.
Yesterday was probably my favorite day so far on my mission. At church, a former missionary came with his amazing family. I love when families come to the branch. It is so cool to see the evidence of how the gospel blesses us. Whenever a family is present, it just brings the Spirit so much more. I got up and bore my testimony because I felt like I should. It was so cool to have words flow out compared to my first testimony at the same pulpit. Fasting is my favorite. It brings the Spirit so much. For the second hour of church (church is only 2 hours here) me and Sister R. spent the first part translating for Relief Society and the second part doing singing time in Primary. I LOVE THE PRIMARY!!!!! It makes me so happy! And there were so many kids yesterday! I think there were 5! I was on cloud nine singing "Jesus wants me for a Sunbeam" (Jezus želi da sem sonček) and my other favorite songs that were the foundation of my testimony. Because the one family was from America, they did not know Slovene so I would say something in Slovene and then in English so all the kids could understand. It was so entertaining. I love translating. I love speaking two languages! Yesterday was just so beautiful!
The Lord loves us! SO SO SO MUCH! I am so happy! I love being part of this work. It is going forward! Nothing can stop it! come what may, the church is true! I love fall in Celje! it is getting beautiful. I love being a missionary! I feel so much support from all of you! Thank you for that! I love you all so much! Talk to you soon after another week of miracles.
