HI HI family!
The power of prayer is real! I felt every single one of your prayers this week as I witnessed a miracle! WE HAD A BAPTISM!!!!!!! Oh I could just cry writing that to all of you. It was amazing! I love inviting people to come unto Christ. I LOVE MY MISSION! God really wanted this Baptism to happen so we had a ton of help. Satan really DIDN'T want this baptism to happen so we had a ton of opposition. It was a crazy difficult week but I learned and grew a ton from it.
LONG story short, 3 hours before the baptism, my companion and I were kneeling in front of a freezing cold baptismal font in the dark because we had lost power. We were both crying from frustration and stress. As we knelt in tears, my companion offered the most powerful and faith filled prayer I have ever heard. She asked that the water would be made warm, that the lights would come back on, that all of our hard work would pull off so we could have a baptism. We took care of everything we could control and left to the nearby drug store (we hadn't eaten in a few days because we had been so busy) where we both got a protein bar and an aloe drink. We sat on the bridge over the beautiful river Drava in silence as we watched the sunset and ate. We walked slowly back up the hill to our church. Then with only 15 minutes before the baptism, the lights turned back on. The water was warm. As I sang for the program I was choked up with gratitude that I am on the Lord's team and HE WILL ALWAYS WIN! She was baptized. I got to hug a freshly clean daughter of God. I love baptisms. I cannot wait for the next one.
My testimony has grown a ton this week. I have been stretched in ways I didn't think existed. Satan is a real being. God is our Heavenly Father. HE IS WINNING! And so are we!
Thank you for the prayers! I love you all!
