Hi hi loved ones!!!
Okay, can I just say one more time. I LOVE BEING A MISSIONARY!
Due to some trips to Croatia this week. I GOT MAIL!!!!!!! Mom and Dad, WOW! I am so amazed at the overwhelming support I have received from you both! The homemade jam might already be half gone... the outfit has been well worn already. I have had hot chocolate probably every day this week. Curry... I could have cried when I saw that. Words can simply not express how much love and support I feel from the two of you. Thank you so much!
I also got a package and some letters from friends. Thank you Sister Emma Brinton for the package. Your note made me cry. I was walking down the streets of Slovenia tripping and running into things as I read it on the way home, laughing the whole time! I have some really great friends.
We had some incredible moments with the Spirit this week where we just let it guide. We were SO blessed because of this. We ended up in our new area for tracting one evening and as we let the Spirit COMPLETELY guide, we were able to see the village how God sees it. We were able to see the end from the beginning. We were SO blessed! I cannot express how it felt to see the potential. We were both overcome with emotion. It was... beyond discription.
Yesterday, we went out to our old village because it felt right. When we got there, we remembered a family who said we could come back, so we went there and they invited us to go on a walk with them. As we walked, I taught the dad and Sister C. taught the mom (the roads here are not exactly meant for walking 4 wide) First off, I knew I was speaking with the gift of the Spirit. I could feel my Slovene being made perfect. Even my cases, with which I have struggled a lot. I knew God wanted this family to hear the gospel. I was so happy. They will accept it some day, I am sure.
One funny story... While contacting in center, I was talking to this little boy and asked him what his name was and then said "Nice to meet you! My name is Holly!" The look on his face hearing a very american name was priceless. Both my companion and I giggled a little. So cute!
This week was incredible. The Lord is working so hard to bring the gospel to his children here in Slovenia. I love being a part of His work. I really do! It is my joy.
